Personal Video Editing
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I'm looking for a skilled video editor & videographer to help me with a project that will go on YouTube for a business im starting called behind your brand (BYB)
Details below, there are two series i plan on launching;
1) BYB with Everyday Aussies
2) BYB with Industry Experts
I'm keen to launch the first part first; BYB with Everyday Aussies and this will be an interview style where i meet with everyday Aussies that are inspirational and will talk about their values, how their values contributed to their success in work and professional life, their personal challenges, personal brand philosophy, how they plan to continue to evolve their brand, anything they would have done differently & what kind of legacy they want to leave behind. All up i'm keen for this interview to go for approx 4-5 mins. I'm happy to do this part on my own and record and i have my own Rode wireless microphones, but I wanted some advice on the best way to do this and also possibly someone to edit the videos to be suitable for YouTube.
The second series - Industry Experts - is around the concept is where I will interview 10-20 inspirational Australian’s (athletes, entrepreneurs, tech leaders, women in business, young guns) on “their personal brand”, I’ll ask questions around how they developed their personal brand (ie what are their values, morals, passion points etc), what was their pinnacle point in their life they realised they could make something of themselves, who inspired them to follow their dreams and who inspires them now). The aim is to promote the series to young & established entrepreneurs, young people to inspire them to achieve goals and everyone else in Australia who is keen to understand “how successes Australian industry leaders have developed their own personal brand & how it’s helped them to be successful”. For this project i will need somone to film these interviews (most will be sit down) and then edit them suitable for youtube
I’m still working thru concept ideas but at this stage I would meet the guests at their desired place of filming (would be based around a place they consider to be inspirational or pivotal in their success, ie for an AFL player it could be their local junior footy club, or for a successful entrepreneur it could be their old high school or first part time job). This would mean I would need someone to attend this the location with me (vic based), set up their own filming equipment, film the interview and then edit the content so that it’s suitable for YouTube & other social media platforms (TBC). I would also be interested in pre planning with this person as to their own views and thoughts on the best way we could film to ensure it’s professional and suitable.
Given the nature of this project, I require someone highly professional, mature and discreet. Also, I would require the person to sign a confidentially agreement & legal document around the use and ownership of the content (ie the content is owned by myself & cannot be reproduced or used in anyway etc). I am a small start up with no incomming revenue, and have minimal funds to pay for these services, but open to contra or partnership ops.
Upon satisfied completion of the filming/ editing I would be more to an happy to provide a testimonial or reference and if this project takes off for a second season and I’m able to get financial backing/ sponsorship or alternatively YouTube monetization, there would be a possibility of ongoing work not to mention building their networks with successful Australian’s of whom might also have other potential job opportunities for them
