MacOS Wav2Lip Setup Assistance

Job ID: 39877887

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

Project Scope: Local Wav2Lip Setup on macOS (Python 3.8)

I need help getting Wav2Lip fully up and running locally on my Mac — starting from a fresh Python 3.8 environment all the way through to producing a successful lip-synced output clip.

My setup:

Operating System: macOS

Goal: Input avatar.mp4 and voiceover.wav → Output final_synced.mp4 (using Wav2Lip)

What I need from you:

Full installation support, including:

All Wav2Lip dependencies (e.g., PyTorch, FFmpeg, face detection libs, etc.)

macOS-specific steps (Homebrew installs, missing libs, CPU/GPU flags if needed)

Ensuring everything works with Python 3.8 (preferred version)

A copy-paste-ready setup:

Terminal commands or a shell script to create a Python virtual environment and install all required packages

Optional: Jupyter notebook or Markdown guide I can reuse later

Demo + walkthrough:

Instructions for feeding in a test video + audio file

Help verifying a working final_synced.mp4 output

Troubleshooting support until the process runs end-to-end on my Mac

Preferred output:

Shell script, step-by-step terminal instructions, or Jupyter notebook

Lightweight and repeatable — I’d like to be able to rerun the process in the future with new clips

Let me know if you’ve worked with Wav2Lip before or have experience with AI video tools — that’s a big plus.
