Long-Form Video Editor Needed

We are seeking a talented Long-Form Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in sourcing appropriate video clips and editing footage to align seamlessly with our voiceover narratives. You will play a key role in creating engaging, high-quality long-form content that captivates viewers and enhances our storytelling.
Responsibilities:
Video Sourcing: Find suitable video clips or footage that visually supports and enhances the voiceover.
Editing: Edit and sequence video content to align with voiceover pacing, tone, and style, creating a cohesive and polished final product.
Storytelling: Collaborate with scriptwriters and voiceover artists to ensure the video aligns with the narrative flow and effectively communicates the intended message.
Transitions and Effects: Add transitions, graphics, and effects where needed to enhance viewer engagement and maintain visual interest.
Sound Design: Sync and adjust audio, incorporate sound effects, and ensure sound quality meets our standards.
Feedback & Revisions: Incorporate feedback from team members, making necessary adjustments to align with creative direction and quality standards.
File Management: Organize and maintain a structured workflow with efficient file management and version control.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in video editing, with a portfolio showcasing long-form video projects.
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Strong storytelling skills and an understanding of pacing, timing, and visual composition.
Ability to source, organize, and incorporate relevant clips from licensed libraries or royalty-free sources.
Familiarity with sound editing and an eye for detail in color correction and visual consistency.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
