Kids STEM Kit Explainer and Promo Videos
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
Title:
Create Realistic Explainer + Promo Videos for Kids STEM Subscription Box (Wooden Hydraulic Arm Kit)
About Us:
We are InventoBox.ca, a kids’ subscription box brand (ages 6–12) that converts screen time into skill time. Each month, kids receive 2 missions:
A hands-on STEM building kit.
A digital/entrepreneurship challenge.
We are preparing Mission 1: Wooden Hydraulic Arm (STEM Kit) and need a professional video creator who can deliver both a detailed build walkthrough and an engaging short promo.
What We Need:
1. Long Explainer (3–4 minutes)
Step-by-step build video of a wooden hydraulic robotic arm kit.
Realistic assembly: wooden textures, syringes, and tubing shown clearly.
Smooth step transitions with animation overlays (arrows, labels, highlights).
Subtitles included.
Tone: Educational, exciting, unisex appeal (not babyish).
Parents should feel “Wow, my child can build this!”.
2. Short Promo (30–45 seconds)
Reel/TikTok-style cutdown from the explainer.
Hook parents with the message: “Convert your child’s screen time into skill time!”
Energetic, attention-grabbing, and parent-wow focused.
Deliverables:
Long version: 16:9 ratio (YouTube).
Short version: 9:16 ratio (Reels/TikTok/Shorts).
Subtitles included.
Source file (so we can repurpose later).
Budget:
$100–$150 USD (milestone-based: long version first, then short).
Timeline:
7–10 days (demo or sample required before full project).
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience with STEM/educational builds or explainer videos.
Ability to make content clear for kids and exciting for parents.
Strong skills in animation overlays, editing, and storytelling.
Portfolio showing similar educational or product assembly work.
To Apply:
Please send:
Your portfolio (STEM/educational/product builds preferred).
Confirm you can deliver both versions within 7–10 days.
Your proposed approach (recorded assembly, 3D mockup, or mix).
A quick demo clip (if possible) to show how you’d handle the kit.
Here’s a real-world build video of a wooden hydraulic robotic arm that closely matches the kit style we’re aiming for: https://youtu.be/niH0jmxsHOU
Bonus:
If successful, you’ll have the chance to work on future missions (we’ll be producing videos monthly for new STEM + entrepreneurship kits).
