Help Me Edit Our Youtube Content Into Short Form Videos For All The Major Platforms
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I work for a company called Strata SFR creating content on YouTube through the vlog style and we are looking for a second editor to help with a few projects. We are a brokerage that helps landlords and home builders sell large quantities of rental homes to large capital investment firms. This means we would love to work with someone who has some knowledge of real estate or has the ability and desire to ask and learn about the space to better help us edit the videos.
I edit on Adobe Premiere Pro so it would be ideal that we both do so in order to work on team projects. Ideally we would like someone local to Charlotte, NC, but could possibly work with someone remotely.
Listed below is the first project's specifics. This will give us a feel for if you can catch on to the themes of our industry. If we work well together and you knock it out of the park we will also ask for your help on a second project editing our long form vlog content. This job is the first in an ongoing work relationship we hope to develop.
Project Details: Repurposing old Youtube Content For Short Form Platforms
- Go through a collection of Strata SFR's old Youtube videos that I have pre selected and cut them into short form clips, formatting multiple versions with different aspect ratios for other platforms.
-16:9 to repost on Youtube
-1:1 for LinkedIn
- 4:5 Facebook
- 9:16 for Tiktok
- Instagram is a little more complicated. You will need to edit in a 4:5 aspect ratio but then nest that composition into a 9:16 composition with a black background or solid under the nested layer so that the space above and below the video is black. This allows the feed preview to show everything in the video, but still allow it to upload to IGTV.
The footage and project file will be provided by google drive links once we chose you for the job.
I'm very interested in sharing advice with this editor on how we edit for YouTube analytics so that our company can create the best real estate investing channel on YouTube and also allow you to further your skills. If you're already a video editing rockstar, it might be better suited that we switch roles with you editing the story or even full projects on your own. Looking forward to working with a great editor who has an interest in the Youtube space.
