German Movie Recap Editing
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m producing a new series of German-language movie recaps and I need an editor who can shape each episode so viewers stay glued right up to the final scene. The storytelling should unfold at a slow, deliberate pace with clear, detailed explanations of plot twists, character arcs, and key visual cues. Even though the structure leans analytical, I still want the overall vibe to feel humorous and light-hearted so the audience has fun while they learn.
Here’s how I picture the workflow:
• You receive my narrated voice-over in German and the legally sourced movie footage.
• You craft a coherent recap, pacing each segment so the story breathes—think longer dissolves, thoughtful zooms, and on-screen text that clarifies context rather than rapid-fire jump cuts.
• English subtitles are needed, but I’m open to either hard-coding them directly into the video or supplying them as a separate SRT/VTT file if that’s easier for you in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a tool you’re comfortable with.
• Final delivery: one polished 1080p (or better) video file plus the subtitle track in the chosen format, ready to publish on YouTube.
