Freelance Video Editor for Technical Educational Content
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
We are seeking a detail-oriented Freelance Video Editor with an interest in technology and programming to refine and elevate our educational video content. The role involves enhancing the clarity and quality of our videos that teach complex technical subjects. A background in engineering or familiarity with technical concepts is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Perform essential video editing tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Noise reduction and removal of unwanted sounds (coughs, sneezes, ambient noise, etc.)
2. Eliminating repetitions, filler words ("um", "ok", "aaaaa", etc.), incomplete sentences, and retractions.
3. Ensuring consistent framing and layout across various clips within a project.
3. Eradicating instances of recorder start/stop.
Carry out advanced video editing, including:
1. Use of "Noise Removal" tool across all projects.
2. Blurring of any personal folders or downloads accessed during the video for privacy reasons.
3. Obscuring instances of password or sensitive information entry.
4. Guarantee a seamless and professional result, avoiding abrupt edits that might disrupt the learner's experience.
Requirements:
1. Expertise in video editing software, such as Camtasia.
2. Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining privacy and producing professional-grade videos.
3. Exceptional communication skills to understand and execute specific editing instructions.
4. Consistent ability to meet deadlines.
Please note: As part of the application process, you may be asked to edit a short sample video to demonstrate your skills and comprehension of the requirements.
Budget: 500 INR per hour of video for basic editing.
Note: This is recurring work. We produce hours and hours of content.
