Family Storytelling Video Editing Project
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m looking for a skilled and creative video editor to turn approximately 9 minutes of footage, captured on my Canon camera, into a heartfelt 1–2-minute story. The video will highlight a loving and playful family dynamic, incorporating specific elements to make it truly special.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Condensing Footage: Trim and edit 9 minutes of raw footage into a cohesive 1–2-minute video.
- Incorporating Voiceover: Use an 8-year-old’s voiceover reading lines from a book to bookend the video (lines from the beginning and end of the book).
- Enhancing Natural Audio: Include captured sounds like talking, laughing, and waves, but clean up wind interference if possible. If the audio isn’t salvageable, omit it.
- Adding Music: Overlay a song that I’ll provide to complement the visuals and mood.
- Reflecting Family Personality:
Mum: Observant, soaking up the love.
Dad: Watchful, ensuring everyone has what they need.
Oldest Girl: Confident and a caring big sister.
Boy: Inquisitive and independent.
Youngest Girl: Feisty, headstrong, and the centre of attention.
Key Requirements:
Experience in storytelling through video editing.
Strong skills in sound editing to clean up or enhance natural audio.
Ability to reflect personality and emotion in your edits.
Proficiency in premiere pro.
Attention to detail and a collaborative mindset to bring my vision to life.
Deliverables:
