Can you capture the moment behind every smile, laughter, and hug? We are seeking for a professional who can beautifully document a once-in-a-lifetime family gathering—a surprise Thanksgiving reunion for our beloved grandparents…likely the last chance to gather everyone together in one place.
Family members from across the country will come together, many reconnecting after years apart, to share a heartfelt day filled with love, laughter, and celebration. This is an opportunity to capture the priceless memories of an aging matriarch and patriarch surrounded by their children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren. Every glance, every hug, every moment of joy and nostalgia will be a testament to the legacy they’ve created.
What We’re Looking For: We need someone who can do more than just take pictures and video. We’re seeking a storyteller—a visual artist who will immerse themselves in our family’s story and help us preserve the day in a way that honors the love and bonds that make us who we are. From candid shots to posed portraits, from silent moments to animated laughter, your work will bring this reunion to life for years to come.
Responsibilities:
Capture high-quality photos and videos throughout the event, including candid, posed, and group shots.
Edit and produce a polished, emotionally resonant video and photo gallery that tells the full story of the day.
Bring an empathetic and attentive presence, ensuring each family member feels comfortable and connected.
Collaborate with family members to capture specific requests or moments that hold deep meaning.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in event photography and videography, especially with family or multi-generational events.
Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to tell a story through visual media, with examples of both photography and videography.
Skilled in post-production editing with an eye for detail, storytelling, and emotion.
Warm, personable, and adaptable to a range of personalities and ages.
