FOIA Research and Video Editing Specialist Needed

Job ID: 40034319

Budget: €8 – €30 EUR

I am looking for a professional FOIA Researcher who can legally obtain official police bodycam footage through FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests in the United States — and who can also edit the videos for YouTube in a simple documentary format.

This job requires REAL experience.
No recycled clips. No TikToks. No YouTube re-uploads.
Only original, officially requested FOIA material with proof upon request.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

FOIA Research

Submit FOIA requests to police departments, sheriff’s offices, state agencies, etc.

Retrieve bodycam footage, dashcam, 911 calls, interrogation footage, report files, etc.

Provide proof of official FOIA request when asked.

Deliver 2–3 new footages per week (minimum).

Video Editing

Create a simple 20–40 second B-roll intro with music and text (template provided).

Insert the raw bodycam footage after the intro.

Follow a minimal editing structure (very basic cuts, no need for heavy editing).

Export final video in 1080p.

Turnaround time: 48–72 hours per clip.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience with FOIA research or public records retrieval.

Ability to communicate with US police departments via email.

Stable and consistent quality in research.

Basic video editing skills (Premiere/CapCut/DaVinci/etc.).

Preferred locations: Philippines, Pakistan, Morocco.

DO NOT APPLY IF:

You cannot provide FOIA-based material.

You rely on social media clips or YouTube compilations.

You cannot deliver proof of FOIA request.

You have no editing ability.

PAYMENT:

$15 per valid FOIA footage delivered AND edited.

BONUS: +$10 for any video that performs exceptionally well.

Long-term position for the right person.
