Cinematic Storytelling Video Editor for YouTube Movie Recap Channel (Long-Term)
We are building a YouTube channel focused on engaging, cinematic movie recaps — and we need a skilled video editor who understands storytelling, pacing, and audience psychology.
This is NOT just cutting clips together.
Your editing must feel like a mini-movie that makes viewers:
Feel connected to the characters
Stay hooked until the end
Leave comments, ask questions, and want to watch more
Full written script (broken down by scene)
Scene timestamps for cutting clips
Voiceover audio files (one per scene)
Background music and intro animation
Your Responsibilities:
Extract the correct video clips based on provided timestamps
Sync voiceover perfectly with visuals
Edit scenes to feel smooth, cinematic, and emotionally engaging
Insert intro animation + video title
Add background music layered under voice (fade in/out properly)
(Optional but preferred) Add subtitles for clarity and engagement
Make sure the story builds tension, builds emotion, and pushes the audience to comment ("What would you do in this situation?" / "Could he have escaped?")
Project Details:
Video Length: 12 minutes per video
Volume: 8 videos per month (consistent long-term work)
Style: Cinematic storytelling, emotional engagement, smooth pacing
Final delivery: 1080p HD (MP4)
Skills We Need:
Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar)
Understanding of story structure and emotional timing
Ability to pace the story so viewers stay until the end
Basic audio mixing (adjust voiceover/music levels)
English comprehension for syncing voiceover and subtitles
