Emotional Retirement Documentary Video Edit
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I am looking for a video editor to create a retirement video (approximately 10 minutes) using a combination of photos, short video clips, voiceover, and music.
I already have a fully structured scene breakdown and narrative script prepared. The video will follow a clear sequence (family, early life, immigration, career, community work, and legacy), so I need someone who can execute the vision cleanly and professionally.
What I will provide:
Complete scene-by-scene breakdown (timed)
Final voiceover script (third-person narrative)
Photos and video clips
Selected music tracks
What I need from you:
Clean, cinematic editing (not over-stylized)
Smooth transitions (fade, dissolve—no harsh cuts)
Proper synchronization of visuals with voiceover and music
Light text overlays (titles, minimal captions)
Good pacing (allowing emotional moments to land without rushing)
Style direction:
Documentary-style, elegant, and emotional
Focus on storytelling and clarity
