Editor for Long-duration Workout Video Projects
Budget: $7,000 – $13,000 AUD
FLG is looking for a Brisbane-based Junior editor to work with us on the creation of our Reform Pilates and Arena WO videos on an ongoing basis. The first contract will be a little more than 3 months. There is an opportunity for the right person to work with us on an ongoing basis, as these projects are being made every quarter.

These videos are played during classes in our gyms and are long-templated projects up to 50 min long.
Arena: 4 weeks per quarter. Each week has 6 WOs, each WO has a main video and shorter 2 loops or variations. Approx 160 hours of editing time per quarter. - 72 videos in total.
Reform: 6 main 45-minute videos and 19 videos made of 2 halves from the main 6 videos. Approx 110 hours of editing time per quarter. - 25 videos in total.
The videos have been made many times before, and we can provide working files to make the editing process a lot faster, as you won't have to build them from scratch. There are deadlines for every WO.
The editor must be based in Brisbane or surrounds and be able to attend or Brisbane-based office to pick up or drop off footage.
Please consider these projects are quite repetitive and they have no room for creativity. This project would suit someone wanting easy, ongoing flexible work that does not mind doing repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit workout videos that are over 30 minutes long.
- Apply a training video style to our footage.
- Meet deadlines and maintain a consistent editing schedule.
Ideal Skills And Experience:
- Proven video editing experience.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling and pacing.
- Knowledge of fitness and workout routines is a plus.
FLG would provide exercise footage, working files, shot lists and music/sound.
Please ensure your bid includes your available working hours, software expertise, and any previous related work. Please quote per quarter, which would be one round of Arena, one of Reform and about 260 hours of work.
