Edit mini-documentaries for Youtube
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project Description:
Title: Edit mini-documentaries for Youtube
*I will set up the timeline, scrub through everything and gather the selects. I will need you to stitch everything together and integrating engaging transitions and text. You will have access to all the b-roll; if you want to scrub through them to find something that works better with your transition feel free.*
I am looking for a skilled editor to help edit mini-documentary style videos. The theme is "A day in the life of.." and focuses on homeless addicts currently. My style is one main interview, filmed with clips of the subject waking up and going about their daily routine. These clips will be integrated through out the video cutting back and forth from the main interview to the in the field dialogue.
The main attribute I'm currently looking for is proficiency in tactfully integrating transitions and cool effects to keep the feel spontaneous, stimulating, light hearted, social media-esque if you will. Almost like a youtube or instagram short... except it's a longer video. Must be okay with material containing graphic drug use.
-Someone that uses Adobe Premier. This is to collaborate on the projects.
- Strong understanding of storytelling and narrative structure
- Ability to work with documentary-style footage/ social media-style content
- Experience in editing longer videos to maintain viewer engagement
- Good with captions and making them pop
- Ability to use unique variety of transitions
If you have a passion for storytelling and can bring a documentary-style approach to editing, I would love to collaborate with you on this project. Please provide samples of your work. Thank you for your time.

I need you to be much better than that but it portrays the vibe for the videos.
