Edit and create 24 total engaging social media videos

Job ID: 40298456

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

We have 6 concepts which we will film- and we have approx 5-10 minutes of raw footage for each concept.

1. How easy is the keyboard to replace
2. How quick is the battery to replace
3. Are components serialised?
4. What are the differences between touch id and non Touch ID version
5. How hot does the motherboard get
6. Can the motherboard run with no battery?

The videos are MacBook Neo teardown and repair-focused videos for my brand. Videos should be similar to ifixit or jerryrigeverything.

This content sits in the tech repair / teardown / repairability niche. The audience includes:
• younger tech-interested viewers who like satisfying, surprising, visually engaging content
• repairers and technical viewers who want useful, practical information
• general viewers who are curious about what is actually inside Apple devices

The editing style needs to balance catchy and high-retention with credible and technical. These videos should not feel slow, corporate, or overly generic. They need to feel sharp, modern, and visually engaging, while still clearly explaining what matters from a repair and hardware point of view. They need short sharp edits, zoom, visual overlays

For each video concept, I need:
• 1 long-form YouTube video of approximately 5 to 6 minutes
• 2 short reels of approximately 30 seconds each
• 1 longer reel of approximately 90 seconds

This means the output will be 6 concepts x 4 videos = 24 videos.

The editor needs to understand how to: • create strong hooks in the first few seconds • keep pacing tight and engaging • use captions, on-screen text, and cut-ins effectively • highlight interesting visual moments and repair insights • make technical content appealing to younger audiences without making it feel gimmicky • package content differently for YouTube and short-form platforms

The tone should feel: hands-on, confident, visually clean, slightly bold, repair-minded, interesting enough to stop the scroll

The niche is Apple repairability, teardowns, internal hardware, and practical testing, so it is important that the editor can recognise what moments are visually or technically interesting and bring those forward in the edit.
