Hey there! We are looking for a high-quality YouTube Video Editor!

Thank you for considering our job post. We are looking for an experienced Video Editor with previous experience working for YouTube channels.

We have started a new one in the “how things work, how it’s made” niche. This means creating videos on how things get manufactured or later on how things work.

The video editor will be given a script and a voiceover, your job will be to create a HIGHLY complete and engaging video with the intention for the video to go viral, by using that voiceover and by performing the following tasks:

[+] Add background music
[+] Add existing clips from other videos (Under fair use)
[+] Add images
[+] Add stock footage
[+] Add Sound FX (where applicable)
[+] Add transitions and titles
[+] (Among other tasks)

Having advanced English or being bilingual is a MUST, as well as being creative.

You also need to be resourceful since this job requires you to find online content that will help your video be more engaging and make it more impactful, following proper copyright rules/laws.

Some of the requirements to apply:

1. Advanced video editing skills, being open to feedback and revisions

2. Previous experience working for YouTube channels (faceless channels preferred)

3. Have access to Storyblocks or similar for stock images and clips

4. Creativity to enhance the video by making the script come to live (use of Sound FX, transitions, change in pacing, etc)

5. Ability to follow our instructions and templates given to you (to make help you more easily deliver the product we want)

6. Your final edited product must not receive any copyright strikes via the YouTube content ID system

HERE ARE THE STEPS TO APPLY:

A. Send me some of your recent work that is either in “how it’s made”, engineering or other niche-related videos, send me 2 direct links to videos you've edited, NOT your entire portfolio. [THIS IS A MUST]

B. Please bid your price per video and turnaround time for the first draft.

C. Oh...and start your bid with “Golden Candypuff”, so we know you have read the post and understand the entire scope of the job.

Thanks in advance for your interest and good luck editors!
