The Man
I am nobody important, from nowhere particularly special, so for the time being just call me Knowhere Man. I am seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced videographer with a desire to join my team in our mission to effect positive change in our World and tangible solutions to the seemingly unsolvable problems it faces. While there are many on our To-Do List, I can think of no better place to start than with the epidemic happening right here in our own backyard: The Fentanyl Epidemic. Every six minutes, someone in this country dies of an overdose on Fentanyl, and that statistic is only continuing to get worse. Unless you have been in a coma for the last 6 years, chances are you or someone you know is either dead or still under the influence of this demon. Over the past year, I have been documenting my own personal experience with the use of hard drugs (fentanyl especially), detox, withdrawal, and recovery. It sometimes felt like a nightmare that I would NEVER wake up from. It is a nightmare that some are STILL experiencing. And it is, unfortunately, the LAST nightmare that some of our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, and children will ever have again. I will not tolerate this horrifying reality for one more second, MUCH LESS SIX FUCKING MINUTES! Hellacious as my bout with fentanyl was, it was definitely not in vain. Throughout this entire experience, I have made sure to keep my mind and heart open to receiving every bit of wisdom the universe has seen fit to pour into me. It would honestly be an understatement to say that I have been standing underneath a Cosmic Niagra Falls for the last 7 months, and I will be God Damned if I’m going to keep it to myself, for myself. Instead, my life’s purpose now is to help anyone who may be struggling see that it IS possible to take their lives back, that these demons CAN be beaten, and I am here to show them, step-by-step, EXACTLY how it can be done.
The Mission
I won’t go into too much detail here, but the basic goal is to show the struggles of chemical dependency, the reasons why people might end up in those situations, why so few seem to make it out intact, and give anyone who will listen the directions on how to find their way back. I will also delve into broader insights such as mindfulness practices, self awareness, setting worthwhile attainable goals, the true nature of Love and the power it gives anyone who knows how to wield it. I have a number of projects in various stages of development including a book, music videos, and a screenplay for a movie to name a few. My priority right now however, is to compile a kind of launch video from the last 6 months of footage I already have, along with at least one month’s worth of finished tape for weekly drops across as many social media platforms as possible.
Job Responsibilities
• Edit and compile footage into cohesive, impactful weekly segments.
• Optimize content for various social media platforms.
• Capture high-quality video footage of interviews, events, and daily activities.
• Assist in producing a compelling narrative that highlights both personal experiences and global insights.
Required Qualifications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Experience in creating content for social media platforms.
• Proven experience in videography and video editing.
• Strong storytelling skills with an ability to convey deep emotional and intellectual content.
Ideal Qualifications
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
• An understanding of trauma, addiction, recovery, and similar mental health topics, and the passion to change it.
• Collaborate on creative direction and storytelling techniques.
