Davinci Script - Custom Control
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need two Scripts that runs on Davinci. Each script should be triggered by a separate Custom Control Button (both buttons already existing in the project attached).
What the script should do:
Script1: SetFlashes
- Find all Markers marked in "Red" color in the Compound Clip
- On each frame where a Red Marker is found:
a) Set value of Custom Control "FlashControl" in Fusion Merge Node, to 0
b) Run a RANDOM formula to get a value that is either 1 or 2
IF RANDOM value = 1,
on the next frame (RedMarkerFrame+1), set value of FlashControl control to 1
IF RANDOM value = 2,
-on the next frame (RedMarkerFrame+1), set value of FlashControl control to 1
-on the next frame (RedMarkerFrame+2), set value of FlashControl control to 0.5
c) On the next frame (probably Frame 3 or 4 depending on RANDOM from previous step), set value of FlashControl back to 0
The script should be triggered every time the user presses the "SetFlashes" button. The button is located in the MERGE1 Node, in the Fusion view of the Fusion Compositon clip, which is inside the Compound Clip on the main timeilne. The button is already there.
Script2: ClearFlashes
Delete all keyframes from the FlashControl control, and set that control to 0 in the clip
The script should be triggered every time the user presses the "ClearFlashes" button. The button is located in the MERGE1 Node, in the Fusion view of the Fusion Compositon clip, which is inside the Compound Clip on the main timeilne. The button is already there.
About the project (attached):
- Project has 1 Timeline, with 1 Compound Clip in the timeline.
- The Compound clip has one Fusion Composition clip inside of it.
- The Fusion Composition clip has the Merge1 node in it, where the buttons to run the scripts are located.
- "FlashControl" has some keyframes and values just as an example. You can delete those keyframes and values.
