DaVinci Resolve Editor for YouTube
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm seeking a remote video editor skilled in DaVinci Resolve. The primary focus will be editing 20-minute DIY or instructional YouTube content. The style should be educational and informative. A project consists of one ~20 minute video, two social media teaser edits, and at least 1 vertical short.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit videos to fit a specific, educational and informative style. We have spent years developing a style and workflow, and you must match our existing style and pace.
- Incorporate text overlays, graphics and animations, and B-roll footage.
- Ensure the final product is polished and engaging.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is a must.
- Experience with editing DIY or instructional content is preferred.
- Ability to create and implement graphics and animations.
- Strong understanding of pacing for educational content.
- Excellent sense of music integration for mood, pacing, story elevation.

I am **NOT** looking for a retention editor (eg, Mr Beast, fast cuts, crazy pace, lots of sound effects). I am looking for a tasteful editor that knows when to use motion and effects to assist the story.
