Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor to join us on a freelance basis. You’ll edit videos based on client briefs, add creative touches, and help deliver polished, engaging content. Since we’re a small team, we value editors who can work independently, manage deadlines, and bring their own creativity to the table.
Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage into complete, high-quality videos.
Add transitions, sound effects, music, and simple animations as needed.
Understand the style and tone of each project and deliver edits accordingly.
Work on multiple projects at a time with clear communication and timely delivery.
Apply feedback quickly and accurately.
Requirements:
Proven experience with editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Ability to do basic color correction, audio adjustments, and simple motion graphics.
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow.
Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
A portfolio or examples of past work.
Nice to Have (Bonus):
Experience editing YouTube videos, reels, or TikToks.
Basic graphic design skills (like using Canva or Photoshop).
Understanding of trends in social media video content.
