Job Overview
The YouTube Shorts Video Editor is responsible for creating engaging, high-quality YouTube Shorts (0–180 seconds) using copyright-free footage, creative editing techniques, and compelling storytelling. The editor will work remotely and deliver completed projects within agreed deadlines while maintaining consistent communication.
Work Arrangement
Work Location: Remote (Work From Home)
Working Hours: Flexible, provided deadlines are met.
Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contractor (unless otherwise agreed).
Communication: All project communication will be conducted through the agreed messaging platform.
The Video Editor will:
Edit YouTube Shorts (0–180 seconds) according to the client's instructions.
Research popular videos on similar topics before editing to improve quality and originality.
Use only copyright-free or properly licensed content.
Add engaging on-screen text, captions, transitions, sound effects, and visual effects where appropriate.
Deliver videos in Full HD (1080p) quality.
Place the channel watermark in the top-right corner.
Ensure all content complies with YouTube Community Guidelines.
Submit completed videos through WeTransfer or another approved file-sharing platform.
Provide up to two revisions per video if requested.
Performance Expectations
The editor is expected to:
Produce creative, unique, and engaging edits.
Deliver Shorts within 24-48 hours unless otherwise agreed.
Maintain consistent editing quality.
Meet project deadlines.
Be receptive to feedback and coaching.
Communicate promptly regarding project updates or delays.
Compensation
Performance-based compensation will be paid according to the agreed rate schedule, including bonuses based on:

Equipment Requirements
The editor is responsible for providing:
A reliable computer capable of video editing
Stable high-speed internet

Backup storage for project files
Confidentiality
All project files, scripts, branding materials, and unpublished content remain the property of the client and must not be shared, distributed, or reused without written permission.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, all edited videos and project deliverables become the exclusive property of the client. The editor may not republish or reuse the content without prior written consent.
Communication
The editor agrees to:
Respond to client messages within a reasonable timeframe.
Notify the client immediately of any delays.
Request clarification whenever project requirements are unclear.

Termination
