Closed Captioning for Half-Hour Weekly Broadcast TV Show
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a skilled professional to create closed captioning for a half-hour recorded comedy program that runs on a broadcast television station in a midwestern city in the USA. This program is in English. The low-res video files provided will be in MP4 format, and accuracy is crucial for this project. Final deliverable will be standard SRT file.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience with closed captioning for broadcast TV. Must be exact as possible.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Familiarity with captioning software and tools, whether Adobe Premiere or other software.
I would provide the names of the characters in each episode. There are some shorts within the show and I would supply character names for those as well. The wording has to be as accurate as possible as this is on a broadcast television station regulated by the FCC.
You would have two to three files per month. The intro song lyrics and are the same and can be picked up and inserted. No captioning for end credits.
If you are interested I would need to see a video link with your captioning inserted within as a sample, and would need an idea of your turnaround time. The show does not debut on TV until September, and I have episodes ready to go soon.
