Cinematic Travel Video Editing

Job ID: 38670470

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I'm seeking a skilled video editor who can transform my travel footage into a stunning cinematic piece. The footage is primarily captured using mirrorless cameras, so an eye for detail and ability to work with high-quality video is a must.

Key requirements:
- Experience and expertise in cinematic style editing
- Proficient in editing high-quality mirrorless camera footage
- Ability to seamlessly integrate background music into the video

If you're a creative video editor with a knack for storytelling through visuals and sound, I'd love to see your work.

Ok, now that all that Ai speak is out of the way...

Hello, I’m Greg

Thank you for your interest in our search for a video editor.

As we all know, the proof is in the pudding… so we think the best way to find a new editor to join our team, is to ask you to edit something for us.

I have put together some proxy clips from a hotel we filmed in Europe.

Here are some examples of other hotel edits we have done with a similar brief to this one.

Here are some guidelines to help your workflow

Length should be 60-90s

1. Entrance way - Show hotel name/stars
2. Reception - Smiling receptionists at work
3. Pool - Single/multiple pools
4. Rooms - Variety if available
5. Restaurant - Key Restaurants/snack bars
6. Entertainment - Kids club, sports courts/mini golf, guest activities, shows/singers
7. Spa/Gym - Spa staff/spa in action
8. Bars - Main bar/pool bar
9. All areas - General hotel shots, interesting angles, drone overview

Some of the above might not be present in the clips provided, simply use your editors discretion and a little common sense :)

Feel free to use whatever music you have access to and that hopefully fits the same style as the example videos provided above.

Here's a link to download around 8Gb's of proxy footage. I suggest keeping the same folder structure in your premiere project... and yes this does need to be edited in Premiere pro as the successful applicants will need to work closely with us moving forward.

Please submit your proxy renders to travelshooteatrepeat@gmail dot com or through the freelancer website and make sure to clearly supply your name and contact details with your edit and in the render file name.

Looking forward to seeing your work, feel free to take as long as you need, but know that we are looking for a fast and creative editor.

Good luck

Greg
