ARLENE: Yeah. And then when I tried to pull out, the stories started. It was always a new fee, or a technical hiccup, or some impossible compliance issue. That's when the panic really set in, and I knew I'd made a huge mistake.
INTERVIEWER: That is terrifying. So what do you do at that point? Who do you even call?
ARLENE: Honestly, I felt totally lost. I went straight to my lawyer, and thankfully, he deals with this kind of thing all the time now. He reviewed all the contracts and immediately said, "Look, I know a group that specializes in this. Call them, their name is CryptoTrace
ARLENE: I called them, and they were really calm, very direct. They mapped out everything. And believe it or not, after maybe two weeks of intense work, they were able to get most of that money back.
