Budget Video Editor for Gaming Content (Long-Form + Shorts)

Description:
I’m looking for a video editor to work with my gaming recordings (games like Prey) and turn them into engaging content for YouTube and short-form platforms.
This is not for recording gameplay — I will be providing all footage.
Each recording is up to around 2 hours max, sometimes shorter.
What I need per recording:
1 long-form video (clean, engaging, well-paced)
1–2 short-form clips (TikTok/YouTube Shorts style)
The goal is watchable and engaging content, not overly complex edits.
What I’m looking for:
Basic to intermediate editing skills
Good sense of pacing (what to cut vs keep)
Interest in gaming content (especially games like Prey)
Good communication and willingness to improve over time
Workflow (to make things easier):
I may provide timestamps or highlight key moments when possible
Looking for clean edits and maybe subtitles if needed, not heavy effects or overly complex styles
Budget:
Test project: $15–$25
Ongoing work: $30–$50 per recording
Potential for consistent work if it’s a good fit
I understand my budget is on the lower side, so I’m open to working with newer editors who are looking to gain experience and grow. I’m mainly focused on consistency and improving over time.
