Aviation Reel Video Editor

I’m a Boeing 737 airline captain launching a mentorship brand to guide aviation enthusiasts, CPL/ATPL students, and the flying public.

I’ll be appearing on camera for educational and insight-driven reels (shooting in portrait mode from my phone). I need a reliable and creative editor who can take my raw footage and turn it into:

Engaging aviation reels (30–60 seconds)

With fast subtitles, clean transitions, background music, and simple visual cues

Style: professional but Instagram-native (think clean, confident, crisp)


Your responsibilities:

Edit 3–5 reels per week (usually face to camera + whiteboard/props)

Add subtitles in readable, modern fonts

Use music and light transitions without overwhelming the message

Occasionally add supporting footage (cockpit/aircraft stock) if discussed

Ensure final export is optimized for Instagram + YouTube Shorts


Must Have:

Great editing sense for Reels (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.)

Ability to handle voice clarity, color correction (basic), and subtitle pacing

Respect for aviation tone (no over-the-top TikTok-style edits)


Bonus If You Can:

Help define a consistent reel “style” for my brand

Turn occasional long-form videos into shorter clips
