Authentic Vanlife Video Editing

Job ID: 40621432

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I run a small YouTube channel that blends solo female van-life adventures with 2 cats as a working musician, alternative-living and music videos/live performances. Every clip needs to feel genuine and un-gimmicky, yet still flow smoothly enough to keep viewers watching. I’m looking for an editor I can count on to turn a batch of raw footage into a finished episode within about two weeks, even if that ends up being just one video a month.

Here’s what I’m after. You’ll take the lead on shaping the story—trim the fat, pace it well, and suggest extra shots or angles I should capture next time. If you feel a jump cut, b-roll overlay, colour tweak or light soundtrack lift will help the narrative, go for it; I only step in when something jars with the “real-life on the road” feel. No flashy graphics or over-the-top effects, just subtle lower-thirds or text when context truly needs it. I would also like my music to be used as background.

Typical deliverables for each episode
• One polished 10–15 min 1080p (or better) master edit
• Balanced audio with road noise tamed, dialogue clear, and music beds sitting naturally
• Colour correction that keeps the dusty-road vibe intact
• Optional 30–60 sec vertical teaser for Shorts/Reels if footage allows

Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve all work for me—as long as the final files are easy to download and any project files or LUTs you use are included so I can revisit them later.

If you’re reliable, quick and enjoy adding your creative stamp while respecting an authentic tone, I’d love to trade ideas and get the next episode rolling.

Please drop a couple of YouTube edits you’ve done before so I can see your work.

Pay is £50 a project
