Animated Photography Assignment
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Rules:
Choose (pick up) only one photo from this assignment to work with:
We will be working with Adobe Premiere (Software is installed into the CCQ computers)
(For practicing purposes, you can install the free software alternatively (DaVinci Resolve) on your personal computer)
You need to edit the photo by adding the text using the software, as mentioned above.
Pay attention to these rubrics, since they affect your evaluation:
Give the type of photography (minimum two types) using the MMAD Book Chapter 1 (page 10-12)
Describe the photo using the meaning of colors (3 dominant colors) in the MMAD Book Chapter 1 (page 24). You can also write about the color schemes if you recognize them.
Tell about the rules of photography composition if there any; golden ratio, rule of thirds, leading lines, etc. (MMAD Book Chapter 1, page 1 - 9).
Choose and add proper music to the photography that complies with the photo (minimum one track).
Describe the music regarding the function of music in the MMAD Book Chapter 2 (page 46-52)
Choose and add one or more proper sound effects (SFX) to photography (minimum one track).
Remember, all these details should appear on the screen on the photo (as layers) using one of the mentioned editing software above.
Make sure to add some transitions to text/photo and or sounds
Make sure to add a few movements/animations to the text/photo

You have to export your finished project in one of the following formats (mp4, avi, mpeg, or mov). See the video tutorial for exporting on Blackboard.
