Animated Music Video, Tribute to the Girl I loved the most, but lost, as well as my final goodbye to her

Job ID: 38017782

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

I seek a talented video editor to create a music tribute video. The video's primary theme is 'memories and nostalgia', capturing a sense of timelessness in a stylish, cinematic, and dramatic manner. I have a list of specific songs that will serve as the video's audio backdrop.

Specifically, I need someone to animate the song "Late for the Sky" based around photos and memories I have with my ex fiance, who I lost due to my alcoholism returning despite promising her I would quit forever. I'm not trying to win her back, but I loved her so much and I want her to know and understand that. I want to make it as a tribute to the love and the fun and the beautiful time we had, as well as the future we always dreamed of, but also as a means of letting her know I accept letting her go and that I want to be happy. I want it to be sort of a memorial to our love life, and also a goodbye. She was my high school sweetheart. My everything. I never wanted to push her away, but I did. The best I can do now is make one last elaborate gift for her, to let her know - or at least feel for a moment what we had, one more time. Just once.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong video editing capabilities
- Experience editing music videos or similar projects
- An understanding of cinematic, dramatic styles
- Ability to portray nostalgia and memories effectively
- Adept at implementing specific music into video content

Your role will involve collaborating closely with me, interpreting the song, and bringing my vision to life. I will provide photos, memories, detailed descriptions of the timing, and even crude story boarding for more specific elements to emphasize during the song. (Such as pairing specific photos or memories to specific lyrics that are relevant.)
I loved making her gifts. She was always so sweet and kind and so in love with us. It was all my own fault that I lost her. She deserves to be happy, but I also feel like I at least deserve to say goodbye. A REAL goodbye, my way.
