Are you a Black man living in London with something real to say about friendship, connection and expanding your circle in the city?
We’re looking for a confident, honest and relatable Black male (25–40) to create a short-form video (think TikTok or Instagram style) sharing your truth about the challenges of meeting new people, making new male friendships and building meaningful connections in London - especially as a Black man.
Too often, Black men are the most closed off when it comes to making new friends or stepping outside their social bubble and we want to change that.
This isn’t just content for content’s sake. Your video will introduce our new social platform, Dumo, designed specifically to help people meet in real life through curated, non-cringey events so from intimate dinners to creative sessions, fitness socials and culture-led experiences with people of the opposite sex - whether social or romantic up to you as an attendee
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is London-based
- Speaks clearly, authentically and conversationally on camera
Can be vulnerable, humorous or direct - whatever your truth looks like
- Has a decent phone camera or is comfortable filming with support
What you’ll do:
Create a short (60–90 sec) video speaking about your experience of trying to make new male friends / connections or expanding your circle as a Black man in London and done with the usual club scene every weekend. Ready to try new things outside of your box
Introduce Dumo as a social space intentionally crafted to help people especially Black men connect in ways that feel natural and real
