Verilog programmer wanted

Job ID: 31036310

Budget: $10 – $1,000 USD

I am in need of a Verilog programmer. I have a circuit with an FPGA daughterboard (Digilent Cmod A7-35T) that connects to a DAC. I need some code developed for this setup.

Right now the FPGA has working firmware that does simple ramp generation. This code is most likely simple enough that you can use it to easily figure out how to write to the DAC.

There's a newer version of the firmware that has two modes: one for the original ramp generation, and one for waveform generation (it behaves like a benchtop function generator). The job I need is as follows:

1. Add a (rather simple) new mode that is just a DC output.
2. The waveform generator has issues. It has some small bugs that need to be fixed, and we need to be able to save its parameters in non-volatile memory. The existing code can be fixed, or the entire thing can be rewritten as well (whichever option you prefer).

In the past, we had Verilog programmers who used Vivado simulations to test the code. That worked well, and if you are interested we have working simulations that we can send you as an example.
