Advanced Device Emulation System Development
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are tying to develop innovative solutions for large-scale application stress testing by creating advanced emulation systems that simulate human-like interactions across a multitude of devices, ensuring our clients’ applications perform flawlessly under diverse conditions.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Device Emulation expert to lead the development of an advanced emulation system capable of simulating up to one million unique devices. This system will bypass sophisticated mobile app security measures, ensuring each emulated device operates indistinguishably from a real human-operated device. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hardware and software emulation, low-level programming, and advanced security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advanced Device Emulation:
• Develop a scalable system to emulate thousands, scaling up to one million, unique devices.
• Implement techniques to bypass advanced mobile app security measures, including cryptographic attestation, IMEI, MAC address, DNS spoofing, and device fingerprinting.
• Simulate a variety of device identifiers such as IMEI numbers and unique hardware signatures to ensure undetectable emulation.
2 Automation at Scale: should be able to scale on demand across all platforms like android and ios. So if needed should be able to do for 1000-10000 devices
• Ensure devices automatically connect to their assigned proxies before performing actions.
• Implement randomized yet controlled actions to avoid detectable patterns.
3 Movement Package Integration:
• Assign each device a unique movement package (a set of AI-driven behavior models) tailored to its usage.
• Define touch patterns, speed of interaction, and app navigation behavior for each device.
4. Security Framework Bypass:
• Analyze and restrict access to security frameworks (e.g., Samsung Knox) by using tampered firmware.
• Remove tamper flags on rooted devices to bypass basic security protections.
5. Cryptographic Environment Emulation:
• Preload generic cryptographic responses for Secure Enclave validation to avoid app crashes.
• Use proxy servers to intercept app calls for security checks and provide acceptable responses.
Good to have:
•Proven experience in hardware and software emulation, including the use of hardware description languages (HDLs) such as VHDL and Verilog.
• Strong proficiency in low-level systems programming languages, including C, C++, and Assembly.
• Deep understanding of mobile app security measures and techniques to bypass them.
• Familiarity with device identifiers and methods to emulate unique hardware signatures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with FPGA/ASIC development for creating accurate hardware replicas.
• Proficiency in reverse engineering hardware and software to accurately model devices.
• Knowledge of virtualization and hypervisor technology (e.g., QEMU, KVM, VMware).
• Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller development.
Deliverables:
1. A scalable system capable of emulating and managing thousands of devices simultaneously, with the ability to scale up to one million over time.
2. Unique hardware and software profiles for each emulated device.
3. Centralized control to programmatically manage all emulated devices and their associated proxies.
4. Memory management for each device, including login credentials, app usage patterns, and behavior history.
