Node.js App Vercel Deployment

I have a full-stack Node.js application ready to go and want it live on Vercel without headaches. The repo is clean; I simply need someone who knows Vercel’s build settings, serverless functions, and routing rules inside out to push it across the finish line.

The job
• Connect my GitHub repository to Vercel (or advise on the smoothest workflow if you prefer another VCS integration).
• Configure the build so both the front-end and API routes run correctly on Vercel’s serverless infrastructure.
• Inject the two required environment variables and confirm they load properly in both build and runtime.
• Troubleshoot any deployment errors until the app is fully functional behind its Vercel URL.
• Provide short, clear notes on what you changed, so I can repeat the process on future updates.

Acceptance
• The production URL returns no build or runtime errors.
• API routes respond as expected.
• The two env variables are accessible (I’ll test via a console log route).
• Your deployment steps are documented in a concise README or message.
