Vectorworks Blueprint Copying Instruction
Budget: $8 – $15 CAD
I’m still finding my feet in Vectorworks and need someone to walk me through, live, how to bring an architectural blueprint into the software and get it ready for a full modular-building project. The part tripping me up is copying and importing the file cleanly, scaling it correctly, and then turning repeated elements into reusable preset assemblies.
Here’s what I’d like from you:
• A series of real-time screen-share sessions that show, step by step, the most efficient way to import an architectural drawing, set the scale, and tidy layers and classes so nothing goes missing.
• Clear guidance on building symbol libraries or custom object styles I can drop into place across the entire modular building.
• Short follow-up notes or a quick-reference cheat sheet so I can repeat the process on my own after we finish.
I’m flexible on session length and scheduling; the key is leaving each call with practical, repeatable actions inside Vectorworks, not just theory. If you’ve taught beginners before and can keep the pace friendly and patient, I’d love to work together.
