3D Conversion and Modeling for Landscape Projects

Job ID: 40343889

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

I have two large landscape projects with topo DWG surveys containing 2D loci and text spot elevations. I need these converted into 3D loci and a Vectorworks Landmark Digital Terrain Model (Site Model) that will form my “Existing Site” model in both 2D and 3D. Requirements: * Clean up the survey DWG (layers, units, coordinate system) and convert all relevant 2D loci/text elevations into accurate 3D loci suitable for Landmark’s Site Model. * clean up erroneous lines and polygons * split elements into discrete layers by class/type * Create a Landmark Site Model representing the existing terrain, set up for: * 2D graphics for aerial plans (contours, annotations, sensible classing) * 3D display for sections, visuals and analysis * File must be immediately compatible with Vectorworks Landmark 2026 (no older file versions that require conversion issues, no proxy formats only). * Work must preferably be done natively in Vectorworks Landmark, using standard site modelling tools (Create Site Model from source data, Existing/Proposed states, Site Modifiers, etc.), so that cut and fill calculations work reliably. * Existing model must be accurate enough for cut and fill calculations when I later develop the “Proposed” site – i.e. correct units, Z values, and no spurious/duplicate points. Deliverables for each project (2): * A Vectorworks Landmark 2026 file containing: * Cleaned source data (3D loci / 3D polys) on appropriate design layers and classes * Discrete design layers for 3D loci/stakes; 3d contours (existing in dwg), and remaining classes * Units in mm (survey data is in metres currently) * A properly configured Site Model object with Existing and Proposed settings ready to use * Any custom classes/resources used in the model. Please only respond if you are experienced in Vectorworks Landmark site modelling (not just general 3D) and have previously built DTMs from survey data for cut/fill calculations.
