Line Art Re-color & Redraw

I have an existing line illustration that I’m happy with stylistically, but I need a fresh version redrawn from scratch so it’s entirely mine to use. The new artwork must mirror the original line work exactly—stroke weight, proportions, and overall feel—while updating the colours only on the main subject. Background, accents, and any other elements should stay untouched.
I will supply a lo-resolution jpeg reference image. From you, I’d like a clean, lossless final file (AI, EPS, or layered PSD) plus a transparent PNG for quick web use. Please keep the line work on a separate layer so I can tweak hues later if needed.
A fast turnaround is appreciated, but accuracy matters more than speed. If you’re experienced in vector tracing or digital inking and have an eye for precise colour matching, this should be straightforward.
