Custom New Orleans Street Sign Font
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a scanned image of an old New Orleans street-sign and I want those unique letterforms turned into a fully installable typeface. The job is to study the scan, recreate every character so the face feels true to the original, and deliver the finished font in OTF/TTF format ready for desktop and web use.
Because the reference is a scan rather than vector art, you’ll need to handle any cleanup, vector tracing, spacing, and kerning yourself; nothing is pre-digitised. I’m not asking for a pre-made traditional, modern, or vintage style—this must be a custom build that mirrors the image exactly.
Please include:
• Vector originals (AI or SVG) for each glyph
• One compiled font file (OTF or TTF) with clean metrics and basic Latin set
• Proof sheet showing every character on a baseline
I’ll forward the high-resolution scan as soon as we start, along with a list of required glyphs. If you’ve digitised signage or historic lettering before, let me know and feel free to link to samples.
