Technical Ink Building Sketch Photo to Sketch -
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have sourced several high-resolution archival photograph of an elegant early-20th-century structure and now need a precise vector illustration that captures its period charm without slipping into modern stylistic shortcuts. My priority is the façade: cornices, pilasters, masonry patterns, and any ornamental relief must read crisply, with line weights that echo classic drafting conventions.
I will supply the reference photos, elevation notes, and a brief historical context to guide your choices on proportions and detailing.
Deliverables
• One fully vectorised illustration in .AI (or .EPS)
• A high-resolution PNG/TIFF preview at 600 dpi for print layout checking
• All strokes, fills, and hatches organised in clearly named layers (e.g., façade, windows, shading) so my editor can adjust colours if needed
Acceptance Criteria
The final piece must:
– Stay faithful to historical accuracy (no invented ornamentation).
– Highlight façade details as the dominant visual focus.
– Use balanced line weights typical of technical ink drawings (no gradients or colour fills; stippling or minimal cross-hatch shading is acceptable).
– Scale cleanly up to an A2 print size with no loss of sharpness.
If this aligns with your expertise in vintage architectural or technical ink illustration, sketch style, I’m ready to share the photo set and kick off immediately.
