Ruff Cut Tiki Hut Logo
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I’m creating a playful logo for our family’s “Ruff Cut Tiki Hut,” a backyard bar born out of an inside joke. I already have the Ruff Cut Lumber Mill logo and would love to borrow some of its recognisable graphic elements—think of the saw-blade silhouette—then blend them with a laid-back, tropical vibe. The actual sign hanging on the hut features a surfboard icon, so that board needs to sit proudly in the new artwork as well. Here’s the vision: the finished logo should feel distinctly tiki-bar—warm, beachy, a touch sun-faded—yet still give a respectful nod to the rough-cut lumber theme that started it all. I’ll send you: • the existing lumber mill logo • a photo of the tiki-hut sign with the surfboard • an inspiration snapshot of our favourite bar’s logo Your job is to translate those references into a clean, embroidery-friendly design that also works on drink coasters and digital screens. A couple of colour and monochrome variations would be perfect so I have flexibility for stitching and printing. Deliverables (vector preferred): • Final layered source file (SVG) • High-resolution PNG/JPG with transparent background • Embroidery-ready file (DST, PES, or similar) • One colour version and one single-colour version A quick sketch or two for initial approval, followed by up to two rounds of tweaks, should get us there. If you’re excited to marry sawdust with surfboards, let’s talk!
