Realistic Desert T-Shirt Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing a new shirt line and need a single-color, realistic desert illustration that prints cleanly in either black or white ink. The scene must feature prominent cacti and an overall desert atmosphere; I’ll share a few reference images so you can match the look and level of detail I have in mind.
The art should feel authentic—think true-to-life plant forms and natural terrain rather than stylized or cartoonish outlines—while still reading clearly at typical chest-print size. Because the design will be screen-printed, smooth line work and solid, fill-friendly shapes are essential.
Deliverables I’d like:
• Print-ready vector artwork (AI or SVG) with a transparent background
• High-resolution PNG preview (300 DPI)
• One mock-up on a blank shirt to confirm placement and scale
• Editable source file in case minor text or size tweaks are needed later
A balanced composition that holds up when scaled down and leaves enough negative space for the shirt color to breathe will be the key acceptance criterion. I’m aiming for a polished, production-ready file plus room for two revision passes based on real-world print tests. Looking forward to seeing a desert landscape that feels both striking and wearable.
