Custom Pet Illustration Project — 40 Illustrations + Optional Micro-Animations
We are looking for an illustrator with a refined, minimalist style to develop a set of custom pet illustrations for a premium concept.
This is a flat-design project (no gradients, no shading, no kawaii style).
Calm, soft, clean lines, natural color palette. Pets should appear mature, serene and elegant.
Scope of Work
1. Base Style Development
- Establish a consistent visual language
- Clear lines, flat shapes, natural tones
- Soft and minimalist aesthetic
2. Illustration Deliverables (40 total)
Lifestyle Scenes (12)
Dog + cat versions for each:
- walking
- playing
- resting
- eating
- stretching (yoga-like pose)
- bonding with owner
Usage Illustration (1)
- pouring into bowl
Ingredient Illustrations (3)
- krill
- fish oil
- omega-3
Benefit Icons (4)
- mobility
- joint comfort
- auto-delivery/subscription
- expert knowledge/info
Pet Breeds (20)
- 10 dog breeds
- 10 cat breeds
Must maintain the same style and personality tone.
Deliverables
- 40 custom illustrations
- Clean vector line art
- Final files in SVG + high-resolution PNG
- One revision round included
Optional: Micro-Animations
We may request simple 5–10 second animations later
(blinking, breathing, tail movement, stretching, etc.)
If you can animate in After Effects / Lottie, please indicate this and share examples.
Required Style
- Flat design only
- No shadows, gradients or cartoon exaggeration
- Calm, mature expression
- Modern, elegant, minimal, soft atmosphere
Visual Reference Direction
The visual direction should be similar in tone to soft flat pet illustrations:
- clean and clear line work
- simple organic shapes
- natural, muted color palette
- calm and gentle atmosphere
- no kawaii elements, no cute exaggerations, no gradients or shadows
- suitable for senior animals (mature, serene expressions)
Check inspiration/reference style in atteached document.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience with flat illustration
- Portfolio with animal illustrations strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain style consistency across multiple assets
- Bonus: animation experience (AE / Lottie)
Timeline
- First style test: approx. 1 week
- Full delivery: approx. 2–3 weeks
