Modern Coastal Tournament Crest Design

I’m creating a fresh, modern crest for the Ventura County Coastal Classic and need a designer who can translate a clear set of elements into a polished vector badge.

Here’s the visual framework I’m working with:

• Shape: I’m open to a circular badge or a shield—whichever layout you feel best balances the elements while keeping the design clean and contemporary.
• Outer ring copy: “VENTURA COUNTY COASTAL CLASSIC” must run around the border.
• Inner iconography: the focal point is a stylized ocean wave, complemented by a subtle hint of either a palm frond or a low coastal horizon line. I’d also like a minimal nod to football—think a tasteful lace stitch or flag-pull detail worked in without overpowering the coastal vibe.
• Bottom ribbon: the text “SoCal Premier Circuit” should sit neatly on a banner or ribbon integrated into the badge.

Deliverables
– One full-color vector crest (AI or SVG)
– A single-color version suitable for embroidery and screen print
– PNG exports at 2000 px and 500 px, transparent background
– Font names and any color codes used

Acceptance criteria
The badge should read clearly at 2 inches wide, remain legible in monochrome, and evoke a sleek, forward-thinking Southern California feel.
