Modern Church Logo Design

I need a fresh, modern logo for our church that centers on a prominent cross combined with a subtle fire motif. The fire should feel uplifting—more like a warm flame of the Holy Spirit than an aggressive blaze—while the overall form stays clean and contemporary.

The primary color treatment I have in mind is a rich golden texture. Think brushed-metal gold, not flat yellow; it should shine on screen yet reproduce well in print and embroidery. If you must add supporting tones, please keep them neutral so the gold remains the focus.
