Minimalist Shield Logo for BlackSwan

BlackSwan is a specialist hostage-rescue and crisis-management firm, and I need a logo that captures that serious, decisive spirit in a clean, contemporary way. The look must stay minimalist—no unnecessary flourishes—while projecting strength and authority.

Design direction
• Core element: a shield. Feel free to explore subtle variations, but the shield should remain the unmistakable focal point.
• Palette: red and black only; use the contrast to convey urgency and confidence.
• Style: crisp lines, negative-space savvy, easy to recognise at a glance. If you see a smart way to hint at a swan within the shield without cluttering the design, that’s optional but not required.

Deliverables
• Primary logo in vector format (AI & EPS)
• High-resolution PNG and JPEG in colour, pure black, and pure white versions
• A quick colour/spacing guide so internal teams can apply the logo consistently

Acceptance
The final mark has to scale cleanly from social-media avatar to vehicle livery, remain legible in monochrome, and hit that balance of minimalism and unmistakable authority.
