Budget: $15 – $25 USD
FREELANCER PROJECT POSTING
Technical Vector Systems Designer – Medical Textbook Project
————————————————————————————————————————
PROJECT OVERVIEW
I am seeking a technical vector diagram designer to create clean, structured system schematics for a medical textbook currently in development for Quintessence Publishing.
The book presents a biological governance framework for understanding long-term implant outcomes. The diagrams required are structural system illustrations — not marketing graphics.
This is a precision-based design project focused on clarity, hierarchy, and disciplined visual logic.
————————————————————————————————————————
SCOPE
8–12 technical vector diagrams including:
- Systems architecture diagrams
- Process flows with decision gates
- Convergence models
- Structural frameworks
- Threshold classification systems
Final output must be:
- Editable SVG
- Clean, layered, organized
- Print-ready (minimum 7 × 5 inches at publication scale)
- Scalable without distortion
————————————————————————————————————————
STYLE REQUIREMENTS
- Flat vector only
- No gradients
- No drop shadows
- No 3D rendering
- No decorative iconography
- Minimalist, clinical aesthetic
- Grayscale with a single accent color
These are instructional schematics for a medical text, not marketing infographics.
————————————————————————————————————————
IDEAL CANDIDATE
You are strongest in:
- Information architecture
- Technical diagramming
- Engineering-style clarity
- Systems thinking
- Clean layout discipline
You are not primarily a logo designer, branding specialist, or social media graphic designer.
————————————————————————————————————————
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please include:
1. Portfolio examples of system diagrams, process flows, or technical schematics.
1. Confirmation that you deliver fully editable SVG files.
1. Your typical per-diagram pricing range.
Shortlisted candidates will receive a paid test assignment with full specifications.
————————————————————————————————————————
ADDITIONAL NOTES
This project requires comfort working within a structured visual doctrine. Precision and restraint are valued over decorative creativity.
If your strength is clean system design and diagram logic, I look forward to reviewing your work.
