Long-Term Illustrator Needed – Premium UK Town Colouring Books

Project overview
We’re launching a premium colouring book series called Britain in Lines, focused on beautifully drawn UK towns and villages. (something like https://colouryourstreets.co.uk/collections/colouring-books-for-adults-and-kids)

We’re looking for one illustrator to work with us long-term to create clean, consistent black-line illustrations suitable for colouring. This is not a one-off project — we’re building a large, ongoing catalogue (200+ locations).

What you’ll be illustrating
Real UK towns, villages, streets, landmarks, and coastal scenes
Architectural and street-level illustrations
Calm, readable compositions designed for colouring

Style requirements (very important)
Black line art only (no shading, no grey, no colour)
Clean, closed lines suitable for colouring
Medium line weight (clear but elegant)
Simplified architectural detail (not hyper-detailed, not cartoon)
No text inside the illustrations

Technical requirements
A4 portrait format
Single-sided pages
Vector output required (AI, SVG, or print-ready PDF)
Full commercial rights transferred

Project scope
Paid test illustration (1 page)
First book: approx. 20 illustrations
Ongoing work available across 200+ locations

We’re specifically looking for someone interested in a long-term working relationship, not short-term gig work.
