Laser-Cut Acrylic Design File
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a production-ready digital file that my CNC laser can read without adjustments. The piece is a decorative item to be cut from acrylic sheet in the 4–6 mm range, so kerf compensation and clean closed vectors are essential. I will share a hand sketch with overall dimensions and a couple of reference photos; your job is to translate that concept into an accurate vector layout and, if helpful, a quick rendered preview so I can verify proportions before cutting.
Please work in whichever tool suits you best—Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Inkscape, or directly in CAD—so long as the final output reaches me in both .DXF and .SVG formats. I cut on a CO₂ laser, so keep inside corners as smooth as possible and avoid tiny details that might scorch at this thickness.
Acceptance criteria
• Correct scale and units (millimetres)
• All paths joined, no open nodes
• Separate layers for cut and score/engrave lines
• Tested import into LightBurn without error messages
Once approved, I release the file straight to the machine, so accuracy here saves us both time. It will be cut from a full sheet of 1.2m x 2.4m
