Endurance Event Medal Designer

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled medal designer to develop multiple new design concepts for our virtual running challenges. The first phase will include creating a bulk set of new medals for upcoming launches, followed by ongoing “one-off” designs for new events and seasonal themes.

Responsibilities:

Design original, high-quality medal concepts that are very unique and fun

Deliver detailed, production-ready artwork optimized for metal casting and enamel filling

Work collaboratively with our internal merchandising team to ensure alignment on style and specifications

Revise designs based on feedback and ensure timely delivery

Provide layered vector files ready for manufacturing

Requirements:

Proven experience designing medals, coins, or similar products (portfolio required)

Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or similar vector-based design tools

Understanding of color application, plating processes, and manufacturing limitations

Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines

Nice to Have:

Experience designing medals for endurance events

Knowledge of packaging or medal accessory design (ribbons, tags, etc.)

Workload & Compensation:

Initial project: Bulk set of new medal concepts for our upcoming catalog

Ongoing work: One-off new designs as new challenges launch

Freelance/contract position with project-based pay (rates discussed during onboarding)
