Detailed Cornwall Rectangle Illustration
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m putting together a personal print that frames the county of Cornwall inside a clean rectangle and need an illustrator who can capture the area in a richly detailed style. The finished artwork should show Cornwall’s full outline proportionally fitted to a horizontal rectangle (whichever keeps the coastline accurate) and label or clearly depict its major cities and towns—Truro, Falmouth, Penzance, Newquay, St Ives and the others that make Cornwall recognizable at a glance. I’d also like key historical landmarks (Tintagel Castle, St Michael’s Mount, Eden Project, etc.) drawn in, either as small icons or finely rendered mini-illustrations that blend with the map.
Because this is for personal display, I’m aiming for something that feels handcrafted yet precise: clean line work, thoughtful typography for place names, and a balanced use of colour or subtle shading to separate land from sea. Vector format (Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer or similar) is ideal so I can scale the piece for framing, but a high-resolution (300 dpi) layered PSD is fine if that’s your preferred workflow.
