Classic Whisky Hourglass Logo Design

My new whisky-inspired apparel and gift e-store, Dram in Time, needs a distinctive logo that captures the romance of the still room and the idea of time well-spent over a dram. The concept is set: two traditional copper pot stills mirrored vertically to form an hourglass silhouette, paired with the words “Dram in Time.”

The aesthetic must stay firmly classic—think refined typography and balanced proportions—while the palette lives in warm earth tones reminiscent of oak casks and aged spirit. This artwork will appear across our website, social channels, embroidered caps, screen-printed tees, bottle tags, and shipping boxes, so it has to scale cleanly from a favicon to a chest print.

Deliverables
• Primary logo in vector format (AI / SVG) and high-resolution PNG with transparent background
• Horizontal, stacked, single-color, and inverted versions ready for dark or light garments
• Clear spacing, color, and minimum-size guidelines in a concise brand sheet

Acceptance criteria
– The hourglass shape must read instantly, even at 24 px.
– Pot still profiles should remain historically accurate, not generic flasks.
– “Dram in Time” set in a legible serif or heritage script that complements the graphic without overpowering it.
